Boluda Towage Norway AS has integrated sustainability into its core operations as a provider of maritime towage and offshore services. The company acknowledges its role in maritime safety, local value creation, and reducing environmental impact.

We have prioritized six of the UN sustainability goals based on our operations.

Goal 7: Affordable and clean energy

The company works towards more sustainable energy use through energy-efficient operations. The use of shore power and alternative fuels is considered where feasible.

The company shall contribute to sustainable development through investments in modern and environmentally friendly fleet. Digital systems are utilized to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

GOAl 12: responsible consumption and production

The company shall reduce waste and ensure responsible resource management. Emphasis is placed on waste segregation, reuse, and reduced use of hazardous chemicals.

  • Minimize the use of harmful chemicals
  • Ensure proper handling of waste

GOAL 13: CLIMATE ACTION

Boluda Towage Norway AS shall reduce its greenhouse gas emissions through optimization of operations and fuel consumption. The company will also work towards energy-efficient operations and a gradual transition to low- and zero-emission solutions.

GOAl 14: LIFE below water

The company maintains a zero-tolerance policy for discharges to sea and is committed to protecting the marine environment. All operations shall be conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.

The company shall protect the marine environment through:

  • Zero tolerance for discharges to the sea
  • Compliance with MARPOL, ISO 14001/2015 and internal procedures
  • Prevention of acute pollution incidents
